Barb Swenson,
Senior Analyst/Project Director
Barb Swenson has more than 20 years research experience in
both client and provider environments. Before joining WestGroup in 2005,
Barb was most recently with Arizona Public Service and The Arizona Republic
in Phoenix. Previously, she held several positions at Pacific Gas & Electric,
and was an Account Director at Winona Research with a diverse Southwest
client base. While her main areas of research expertise focus on utilities
and media, she has a diverse background with research experience across
a variety of industries and methodologies.
Barb partnered extensively with clients to provide optimum solutions to their business research challenges. Her research expertise extends from designing and moderating focus groups, to the design and management of quantitative studies completed by phone, mail, intercept and Internet. Achieving and maintaining a partnership with her clients ensures actionable results provided in the most effective manner for her client’s needs.
Barb has been active in the local chapter of the AMA, including serving as a board member in 1988. She is actively involved in supporting many local charitable organizations including the Girl Scouts of America, Cancer Relay for Life and the American Heart Walk. She is a dedicated active member of her church with the youth ministry, bible study and choir.
