Listening to Prescott Valley...
WestGroup analyst Chris Karis
presented the results of the Town of Prescott Valley Citizen Survey on
January 11th to Mayor Rick Killingsworth and the Prescott Valley Town
Council. The primary purpose of the study was to find out what residents
think about services currently provided by the town and prioritizing key
issues facing the town . The study was also specifically designed to capture
reactions to three potential community improvements that would results
in tax increases. Mayor Killingsworth and Council Member Rabideau both
thanked Chris for the presentation and each stated the survey provides
a good basis of information for determining what the community wants and
needs in the coming year. "This is certainly helpful to us as we're deciding
and deliberating public policy," Ms. Rabideau said. The presentation was
broadcast on local cable channel 13. Nice job, Chris!
Speaking to ASU...
Analyst Stephanie Apostol
and Director of Operations Peter
Apostol guest lectured to a Small Business Sales and Marketing class
at ASU in February. The students are taking the class as a part of a minor
program in Small Business. These non-business students are being exposed
to a series of classes that will help them to be successful should they
decide to start their own businesses in the future. Peter and Stephanie
spent two hours explaining the basics of marketing research to the class.
