WestGroup Speaks...

• VP Kathy DeBoer was a panel speaker at Riester Robb's Transit Symposium on May 4th. Nice job, Kathy!

• VP Glenn Iwata spoke at a national utility conference on "Pre-pay Power and Metering" on May 3rd and 4th at the Tempe Mission Palms. For those of you who missed it, Glenn gave an electrifying speech!

• Peter Apostol and Stephanie Apostol guest lectured at the University of Phoenix. They gave the classroom of aspiring marketers the inside scoop on market research and its practical applications.

WestGroup Hosts Air Pollution Awareness Fieldtrip...
Twenty-five fifth graders from Phoenix Christian School went on a tour of the WestGroup facility on May 2nd. The field trip was the culmination of a school project on air pollution awareness. As part of the project, the students conducted their own mini-research study on air pollution in the Valley. They came to WestGroup to see how the "professionals" do it! Transit expert Kathy DeBoer headed up the event and gave the students a short presentation of the results of WestGroup's research on the Clean Air Campaign and Ozone Awareness. Everyone had fun and we definitely spotted some up and coming researchers — including Kathy's daughter Jenny!
