Geeky Researchers Play, Too!

So you think we are just geeky researchers? Well, we are, but we are geeky researchers who are committed to teamwork and fun! WestGroup employees treated themselves to a Sand Volleyball Tournament on April 14th. The whole company got out there and got sandy! The teams included staff from different departments, so everyone got the opportunity to get to know fellow WestGroupies even better. There were high fives flying! It was a fun team experience and a well-deserved reward for a busy and successful first quarter. Since I wasn't on the winning team, I'll forgo formally recognizing them!... The real humiliation comes when the management staff goes "golfing" in May. It may be a scrimmage on an executive course, but many of us feel its going to be a real challenge. We are gearing up to laugh at ourselves (and others) for 18 holes! I'm trying to secure permission to have photos of our team events posted on the website, but there's some silly notion of wanting a professional image so I can't promise anything.

Please be advised: WestGroup has hack golfers and mediocre volley ball players available for all your company events! You are guaranteed to laugh significantly louder than usual!
