Unlike smaller firms or independent consultants, WestGroup has our own independent fixed Interviewing Center, staffed by our team of professional interviewers, coders and supervisors. We currently have 50 active interviewing stations, with room to add additional capacity if necessary. Each station is fully integrated with a CATI-based system using the popular Ci3 protocol, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) telephone system, and automated dialing systems to maximize interviewer efficiencies.
Interviewing Center Supervisors monitor live interviewing, and are also able to review digital recordings of completed surveys with interviewers, an invaluable training tool. Remote monitoring of interviews is also available to clients upon request.
Although we conduct a number of national studies, we also recognize the need for bilingual interviewing capabilities, especially within Arizona and the Southwestern U.S. To that end, WestGroup employs a number of experienced bilingual interviewers. These interviewers are used to conduct either all-Spanish studies, or as an option for general-market studies where the respondent is more comfortable conducting the survey in Spanish.
WestGroup's proprietary IC management software constantly monitors individual interviewer activities, production, sample dispositions, and other factors. At any given time, this system allows supervisors to identify potential problems with survey questions, skip patterns, samples, or other factors, resulting in rapid solutions to those issues.
Once the data are gathered, WestGroup's team of coders and data processors inspect and clean the data, code open-ended responses per client instructions, prepare the tables and provide the results to clients and/or a WestGroup Project Director. We utilize a number of different statistical software packages, including SPSS, WinCross, and Uncle statistical software.
