Results of the September WestTrack poll show:

DUI and Running Red Lights are Considered Serious City Driving Problems by Four of Five Arizonans

Verbatim question asked of respondents

Question: I am going to read a list of factors you might face while driving in the metropolitan areas of Arizona. As I read each factor, please tell me if you believe it is a serious problem, a somewhat serious problem, a minor problem or not a typical problem when driving in metropolitan areas of Arizona.

  1. Drivers who run red or yellow lights
  2. Road construction
  3. People who drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  4. Speeding
  5. Bicyclists and pedestrians
  6. Drivers who change lanes often

(The six list items were rotated for each interview to avoid position bias.)
