Wendy Huck Godfrey has joined WestGroup Research in Phoenix as an analyst. Godfrey specializes in consumer and business issues for the financial industry. Prior to joining WestGroup, Godfrey was an independent research consultant working with such companies as Bank One, AZ; First Hawaiian Bank; First National Bank & Trust (Ashboro, NC); SRP and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). Before starting her own business in 1997, Godfrey spent 17 years in banking, 13 of those with Bank One/Valley National Bank, where she held management positions in marketing research and sales and service management.
Godfrey's areas of expertise include customer segmentation, customer retention and loyalty, customer profitability, and marketing plan development.
Godfrey has a long history of community involvement, serving on the boards
of the Rosson House, the University of Arizona Phoenix Alumni group, and
Touchstone Community Inc. (a children's behavioral health organization).
Currently, she is president of Touchstone Community and is a member of
the Board of Visitors and Valley Leadership. She also serves as a student
advisor for the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing
and Management. Godfrey earned a BS in Marketing from the University of
Arizona.
