Bethany Helmer, Tabulation Specialist
Bethany has a passion for the art of data processing. She enjoys employing
techniques that bring order from chaos.
Bethany works magic on our raw data. She anticipates the needs of project
directors and clients; resulting in the creation of accurate and insightful
cross tabulations.
Bethany's natural analytical skills combined with her in-depth knowledge
of our software means quick turn-around times and smart and accurate questionnaire
programming and cross-tab creation.
Beth programs questionnaires in Ci3 and writes table specifications using
the World Systems Research tool, Uncle. She also assists Project Directors
by conducting preliminary analysis of the data.
Since joining WestGroup in 1993, Bethany has also gained experience in
focus group coordination, human resources, data analysis, and business
management. Despite in-depth flirting with these other departments, she
always returns to her passion- the art of data manipulation.
Community involvement is of great importance to Bethany. She worked as a volunteer teacher in the Little Tikes' class at her church for two years until she had her own little tike. Now she is actively involved in Women's Ministries, specifically in the area of outreach to our Hispanic Community in Phoenix. She is finishing her Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Southwestern College in her spare time.
